ABOUT

Cheryl Roth grew up in the cultural hub of Boston, MA.  A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, her background in printmaking and apparel design greatly influences her work. Cheryl sees art as a tactile process and has an affinity for collage, textiles, and mixed media. She brings together forms and patterns found within nature, especially the organic shapes of coral and reef formations. She has a wide range of influences that are reflected in her work; from mid century design to abstract expressionism. Cheryl has had studios in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Kansas City. She now lives in an 1850's farmhouse and barn studio in Hudson, Ohio.
